Parenting Through Divorce Seminar

Calm Waters Center for Children and Families offers 4 hour seminars for divorcing parents. Judges, attorneys and therapists frequently refer divorcing parents with minor children to attend “Parenting Through Divorce” seminars.

The goals of the seminar are to:

  • Educate parents about the all-encompassing effects of divorce—emotional, financial, societal and psychological
  • Teach parents how to parent through divorce
  • Teach parents how to better communicate with each other and their children
  • Reduce the level of conflict between parents so they survive divorce with as little damage as possible to themselves and their children

Participation in the seminar is $40 if paying with cash or check, and $45 if paying by credit or debit card. (This is nonrefundable and a $5 administrative fee will be charged for rescheduling seminar dates.)

Participants are required to pre-register and pre-pay.  Payment is due in full 3 days prior to seminar.  Also no ‘walk-ins’ will be allowed to attend the seminar.

PLEASE NOTE:
* This seminar is for adults only. Calm Waters does not provide child care, nor will your child be allowed into the seminar to sit with you.

* Divorcing/divorced parents are not permitted to attend the same seminar.

* Calm Waters is located in Suite 101 of the Northwest Office Center, at 4334 NW Expressway. This office is on the south side of NW Expressway, in between NW 63rd and Meridian. The seminar will be held in Calm Waters’ conference room. The entrance is located on the west side of the building.
